Requirements: Applicants should be able to situate their research in one or more of the Department’s three areas of specialization: Critical Health Studies; Economy, Work and Development; and Social Justice and Inequality. Ideally, the geographic area of specialization would broaden the range currently covered in the department. Given the cooperative structure of teaching and supervision in our joint department, we seek an anthropologist conversant with relevant sociological literatures and methods in their area. Applicants must have a completed PhD in Anthropology by the date of appointment, a promising research profile and agenda, and demonstrated potential for teaching excellence. They will be expected to contribute to both undergraduate and graduate teaching and supervision (at BA, MA, and PhD levels). The position is subject to budgetary approval.
